JOAN HUMPHRIES

MRS Joan Humphries died at Barley View Care Home, Whitworth on Thursday, December 16, aged 86.

Widowed twice to Ronald and Norman, Joan leaves a brother, nephews, nieces, stepchildren and step-grandchildren.

She was a retired leather worker and enjoyed crown green bowling, holidays and socialising with family and friends. She was a member of a Whitworth bowling team, and attended Acre Mill Baptist Church, Stacksteads.

The funeral will be held on Monday, January 10 at 11.30am at Burnley Crematorium.

Family flowers only and donations, if desired, to Alzheimer’s Society.
