Making notes for charity

TICKETS are on sale for the fifth annual concert organised by the NSPCC’s Hyndburn & Rossendale branch.

The show on Sunday, February 6, will include performances from The Houghton Weavers and the 2nd Rossendale Scout Group Band, at Accrington Town Hall.

A raffle will also be held to help raise funds for the children’s charity.

Gillian Quinn, one of the organisers of the show, said: “For the last few years, we’ve really enjoyed these wonderful concerts, so it was a great disappointment to postpone last year’s event due to the pandemic.

“However, that postponement has meant we’re even more excited about these performances from two brilliant groups.
