Flocking to Clive’s defence

SOCIAL media wags started campaigns like #SaveClive and CliveAid after a wife lambasted her husband for forking out over £30 for a supermarket whole leg of lamb.

Wife Rozalia complained on the What’s on in Ramsbottom Facebook page about the price tag paid by husband Clive, the post swiftly went viral. In the original post, she fumed: “Some families don’t even have £30 a week to feed their children...”

It led to comments like “Ewe Ok Clive?” and “I bet Clive is feeling a bit sheepish now”.

Rozalia took all the responses in good humour and is now planning to donate the joint to Ramsbottom Pantry.
