HEALTH NOTE
Anxiety has been named Children’s Word of the Year by Oxford University Press.
More than 8,000 pupils were asked to choose the words they would use when talking about health and wellbeing and their experiences of lockdown.
More than one in five
(21%) chose anxiety as their number one word, followed by challenging (19%) and isolate (14%).
Researchers say the findings highlight the impact of and school closures and lockdown on young people.
