MRS Jenny Jennings (Jennifer Ann) of Milton Close, Helmshore, passed away on April

11, at Blackburn Hospital, age 73 years.

Jenny was a long standing licensee of the Duckworth Arms.

She was renowned for her sense of humour and caring nature and was a friend to all. Wife of late husband Francis Jennings, she leaves her son James Jennings and partner Rebecca, daughter Francine Jennings.

She was Nanni to Violet Rose and Sophia Grace.

The funeral will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024 at St Thomas’ Church Musbury Helmshore at 1pm, and will be conduted by Rev Judith Balkwell, followed by interment at Haslingden Cemetery at 2pm.

MR Brian Rushton, of Schofield Road, Rawtenstall, passed away peacefully at home with family present, on April 10, 2024, aged 90.

Brian was a retired British Rail clerk and retired aged 55, having worked there throughout his working life.

He was a lifelong Burnley Football Club supporter, former CB Radio enthusiast and he bred snakes and fish.

Brian leaves behind his children, Sandra, Peter, Chris and Gemma, also daughterin-law Linda, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will take place at 2.30pm on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Burnley Crematorium and will be conducted by Rev Stephen Cook.
