EW POINTS SYSTEM

Bonus points were introduced to the Six Nations in 2017. Four points are awarded for a win and two for a draw, then if a team scores four or more tries in a match they get a try bonus point and if they lose by seven or fewer points they are awarded a losing bonus point. If a team wins all five matches – ie, a Grand Slam – they are awarded three additional points.
