Wallabies captain Michael Hooper (above) is joining Toyota Verblitz for the first six months of 2021 as part of a ‘sabbatical’ from his Rugby Australia contract. He will miss most of the Waratahs’ next Super Rugby season.

9 Kenya

Innocent Simiyu has taken over from New Zealander Paul Feeney as coach of Kenya’s sevens team (above). He previously coached his country on the World Sevens Series between 2016 and 2018.

10 USA

Eddie Jones (above) has taken on a consultancy role with Major League Rugby team San Diego Legion. The England head coach will spend time in the USA working with the team as well as consult virtually.
