Shapps taking a leaf out of Thatcher’s book

WELL done Transport Secretary Grant Shapps for drawing up plans to take on Mick Lynch and his leftwing, marxist, union wreckers who are hell bent on making the lives of law-abiding and hard-working citizens a misery with their latest wave of industrial action.

These are the same very people who fund Keir Starmer’s leaflets that promise change on one side yet support striking pickets on the other.

I wish Grant well with his new plans. Lady Thatcher stood up to the miners and won a landslide in 1983. Maybe Liz Truss should do the same with the railwaymen and, who knows, if she exposes the sham of Labour for what it is, we might well have a Truss landslide in 2023. Geoffrey Brooking
