Energy company profits are unjust
I LEARN, with dismay, from the national news, that annual gas bills and electricity bills are together projected to exceed £5,000 for an average household.
This is unjust, the more so when set against the huge profits gained by energy companies, their chief executives and their shareholders.
Am I to assume that any arbitrary amount can be set, without sound justification?
What might be the repercussions for those unable to pay, the old and the vulnerable in our society? Linda Moore
