Boris is doing nothing to help this country

I DON’T think Boris took the Prime Minister’s job seriously! It’s a job with much responsibility, but he never showed the strain of office like many of our previous government leaders.

He enjoyed the job and was able to have holidays and to celebrate his marriage to Carrie in style. No 10 was expensively refurbished at no cost to himself, no wonder he was loathe to stand down.

He avoided many of the more serious events during his tenure such as meeting with the Russian leader, Putin, to dissuade him from invading Ukraine.

The well-off people of this country are Boris’s friends. The working-class need expect no favours from this Conservative Party government.

Britain is like a ship at sea with two potential captains standing in the wings, each fearful of making a statement on policy in case it spoils their own chances of becoming captain.

Boris is doing nothing to help our country through the current crisis.

Instead, he has decided to embark on his and Carrie’s honeymoon, leaving Britain currently without a ship’s captain.

This Tory self-serving government should be dumped without delay.
