NEW Doctors seem to come around almost as often as new Prime Ministers (though not as frequently as new Chancellors of the Exchequers) these days and so Jodie Whittaker comes to the end of her tenure as the Time Lord with a 90-minute special to give her a fitting send-off. What we know so far is that the 13th Doctor’s final adventure will feature old adversaries the Daleks, the Cybermen and The Master as well as former companions Tegan (Janet Fielding) and Ace (Sophie Alfred). It promises to be an epic, explosive last hurrah for Whittaker with David Tennant rumoured to be making an appearance and Ncuti Gatwa waiting in the wings to take over ownership of the Tardis.
