Truss and co should try parachuting

DURING her Tory leadership campaign Ms Truss styled herself as the ‘Johnson Continuity Candidate’. She has already delivered on that: continuity of chaos, continuity of confusion, continuity of contempt for professionals, continuity of U-turns, and continuity of cosying up to the very rich.

I can only think that people like Truss and Johnson get a big adrenaline rush by their behaviour.

Unfortunately it is us, the mainstream general public, who just want to do a fair day’s work for a fair day’s pay and to use reliable and effective public services who have to live with the consequences of their tomfoolery.

Perhaps they could get their ‘hits’ by solo rock climbing, or free-fall parachuting, or maybe sailing single-handed around the world.

way they would not cause so much harm.
