Road closed after man is stabbed on bus

A MAJOR west London road was closed after a man was stabbed on board a London bus.

The stabbing took place just before 2pm on Sunday and emergency services rushed to the scene on Heston Road, in Hounslow.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at about 2.05pm on Sunday October 30 to reports of a man stabbed on board a bus on Heston Road in Hounslow.

“Officers, the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended.

“The 20-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment; his injury is not believed to be life-threatening. The A4 was closed to traffic whilst emergency services were on scene.

“There have been no arrests and enquiries continue. Anyone with information is asked to call police via 101 quoting reference CAD 3945/30Oct.”
