PLANT OF THE WEEK
TACCA CHANTRIERI
Here’s the Bat Flower, also sometimes known as the Devil Flower. It’s hard to obtain, but not impossible, and is quite beautiful if a little spooky. It’s a herbaceous perennial with long whiskers and two bat-like ears. It will need to be grown indoors and is ideal for a dappled position in a greenhouse or conservatory with a minimum temperature of 15C.
