Former journalist Mark Boal’s impressive movie career has involved writing the Oscarwinning screenplay for The Hurt Locker and he also wrote Zero Dark Thirty, Detroit and Triple Frontier. Now he’s heading to the small screen for Echo 3, a 10-episode action thriller about the search for Amber Chesborough, a US scientist who vanishes somewhere along the Colombia-Venezuela border. Welsh actor Luke Evans and Michiel Huisman star as her brother and husband respectively.
