REMEMBER when fantasy used to be fun? The Lord Of The Rings and Game Of Thrones have presented us with rather earnest takes on wizard and monster yarns in recent years but Willow, a reboot of the 1988 film, reminds us that it doesn’t have to be all po-faced solemnity and portentous dialogue. Warwick Davis is back as the titular hero in this enjoyable, action-packed eight-part series set in a magical world where an unlikely group of heroes set off on a dangerous quest that involves an evil queen, sorcerers, trolls and other mystical beasts.
