Peter

Nose: Vibrant cinnamon, ginger, lemon peel and honeycomb reach up. Feels very sweet before it even gets into the mouth.

Palate: Very different. Fresh ginger dominates and overpowers. Some citrus notes then make themselves known.

Finish: Lasting peppery notes.

Comments: So much promise in the start. Needs a rebalance as working with allnatural ingredients isn’t easy. Sweetness nicely in check and the ABV works well.

Sam

Nose: Bright and very forthcoming. Loads of ginger, clove and honey. Lemon scented washing up liquid.

Palate: A light mouthfeel with a little liquorice, loads of raw ginger and a fresh lemon note. Lime develops before the ginger returns, this time as biscuits.

Finish: Really long, ginger and pepper. Very hot.

Comments: Maybe a touch too much ginger, but I can see this mixing well and I wouldn’t mind sipping on ice.
