Nose: Leads with a big waft of Bounty milk chocolate bar coconut. Dried sultanas and raisins follow, then sweet oak and vanilla.

Palate: Lovely big sweet orange and vanilla. Nice Bourbon-cask vibe.

Finish: Dry, medium length finish. Gently peppery, with hints of baking spices.

Comments: Very approachable, with a nice amount of complexity. Might be a little too easy going for some, but it’s surely going to win many friends for being so drinkable.

Sam

Nose: Sugar coated almonds and burned toast initially. Buttery, before a waft of fruit lightens things up.

Palate: Citrus peels, vanilla and lots of caramel and cinnamon. Good balance of spice and sweetness. A gentle nod to oak.

Finish: The spice from the palate comes through to a middling length.

Comments: Tasty stuff. Great option for a versatile mixer, while it will be no stranger to people sipping it neat. Balance of flavours is simply superb.
