Nose: Big and complex, as befits the notion of a threeisland blend. Leading with vegetal, sweet parsnips, raw sweet potato, a bready note, hint of ginger, and pineapple.
Palate: Sweet with cough mixture. Honey and lemon.
Finish: A big, dry, spicy finish, but I just cannot shake a ‘green’ sprout-like note there.
Comments: An unusual flavour profile. It’s refreshing to taste and enjoy a blend that challenges the norm – different, and engaging too.

Nose: Toffee cheesecake combined with baked peach and flambé pineapple; caramelised fructose and a touch of spice.
Palate: The texture is thick and almost chewy. There are a lot of creamy toffee and fudge notes up front, followed by an array of spice and cherry wood.
Finish: Notes of caramelised crumble develop on the finish to a dry woodiness and black pepper.
Comments: A wellrounded rum that’s very mixable.
