Nose: A nose packed full of molasses, treacle, and brown sugar. Sweet coffee, dates, and a gentle touch of sweet anise.

Palate: Bittersweet oak, coffee, with lots of sweet dates, sultanas, and nectarines in there.

Finish: Plenty of grip, lingering, and gently spicy on the tongue, with a tingle of warmth.

Comments: This really is an engaging and characterful blend. Something I really want to pick up again and again.

David

Nose: An exciting mix of sweet and savoury, bringing to mind cola cubes and also pretzels.

Palate: Deep, dark flavours with the spiciness of cinnamon and ginger. Woody notes of chicory and Camp coffee follow, accompanied by a silky, almost syrupy texture too.

Finish: A little fire on the finish, but no burn, just warming, cracked black pepper hints.

Comments: A sippable spirit that would be really marvellous in an

Old Fashioned.
