Nose: Freshly planed oak, toffee, and vanilla caramel.

Palate: The spirit arrives like liquid toffee across the palate. A little butterscotch note.

Finish: A very simple finish that fades rather quickly.

Comments: Quite simple in character – if you like your rum sweet, this is one for you.

Nose: Jammy on the nose with raisin, spice, soft wood, and Christmas cake.

Palate: Luxurious in texture: thick, with a light, cherry-like sweetness. Toasted brown sugar comes through with notes of flambé orange à la crêpes suzette.

Finish: A little pepper and a touch of fire, before some final fruitiness.

Comments: A fruity and sippable rum that, despite the slight heat on the finish, is quite accessible.
