Inn is not so much about the cocktails, although they do make classics. Being located on Florida’s Key West, so close to the Caribbean, it exudes kindred island vibes that make it an ideal place for enjoying rum. The inn has a notorious history as a rum-smuggling base during Prohibition, with smuggled spirits stored in the basement (a rarity in this floodprone state). Opening in 2008, the Rum Bar’s collection has grown to more than 300 global rums, and it offers flights of five starting at $25. The charming white inn is marked by palm trees and red umbrellas, while the cosy, dive-style interior is lined with Dade County pine wood.
