Takamaka launches premium St André Series

Seychellois rum distiller Takamaka is aiming to embody the nature of Seychelles rum in its new St André Series. The range comprises: Extra Noir, a blend of pot- and column-distilled molasses rum, soaked with fines from ex-bourbon casks then pressed with both French and ex-bourbon cask wood; Zepis Kerol, a blend of molasses rums soaked with ex-merlot French oak wood fines then macerated with locally grown spices; Pti Lakaz, a blend which includes traditional pot-distilled Seychelles cane rum and an eight-year-old molasses rum from Foursquare in Barbados; and Grankaz, which blends pot-distilled Seychelles cane rum aged in new French oak with threeyear-old ex-bourbon molasses rum and an eight-year-old Foursquare molasses rum.
