Egg-citing Easter fun is on at Norton Priory

-

● A DOUBLE helping of half term fun is being served up at Norton Priory in Runcorn.

On Monday, April 10, and Tuesday, April 11, families can take part in Chick, Chick, Chicken.

They can enjoy ‘egg-citing’ crafts at the museum and trails around the grounds before joining in with a story walk with the Ranger.

Susan Brownrigg, Norton Priory learning and community manager, said: “This giant hen is making a spectacle of herself by mistaking oval shaped objects for her eggs.

“We need youngsters to crack this case wide open and help look out for clues that will tell us why.”

On Bank Holiday Monday, April 17, families can make carrot and bunny themed crafts in the museum and follow trails before heading out on a Bunny Hunt.

Susan said: “A giant rabbit has been bounding through the museum woodland in search of something to satisfy his monster appetite.

“We need assistance in tracking down this big-eared glutton before he bites off more than he can chew.”

Norton Priory museum is open 10am-5pm.

Activities are drop-in, no need to book, and take place 11am-4pm at the museum. Storywalks are on the hour.

Usual admission prices apply – there is no additional cost for family activities.

Admission prices for 2017 are, adults £6.70, children £4.75, family £19.25, under-fours free.

Visitors are advised not to use the postcode with satnavs as they will become lost.
