ARUNCORN-BASED payments bureau has commended the long service of two senior employees. Yvonne Johnson and Roger Jones, who both joined First Capital Cashflow in 2002, were recognised for reaching the milestone of 15 years of service.

Yvonne is responsible for clearing funds collected through the company’s direct debit system, and also plays an active role in the client services team.

Roger, who has worked in accounts throughout his career, has seen his duties within the business change dramatically over the last 15 years.

From working as a credit controller, manually chasing outstanding money, Roger now works on collecting clients’ direct debit payments via a cloud-based system.

Conrad Broadbent, First Capital Cashflow managing director, said: “Over the last 15 years, the business has transformed.

“We have invested heavily in developing our own cloud-based direct debit and direct credit payments system, which has enabled us to become one the UK’s leading payments processing companies.

“We would not have been able to achieve such rapid growth and client expansion without Yvonne and Roger’s dedication and hard work.”

Yvonne said: “It has been a pleasure working in such a positive, supportive environment.

“The advancements in cloud-based payment methods have been exciting to be a part of and our growing client base is testament to the way we’ve harnessed new technology.”

Roger said: “It’s fantastic to see the expansion of the company over the past 15 years.” ●
