IN BUSINESS Practice boosts links with China
AWIDNES- BASED accountancy firm has strengthened its team as it seeks to generate merger and acquisition deals between companies in China and the UK.
MC Vanguard Corporate Finance has recruited Nan Zheng.
She has joined as a corporate finance executive from the Beijing office of international accountancy group ShineWing, where she was a senior associate.
Nan has also worked in Hong Kong and brings more than five years’ experience of the Chinese market, advising on acquisition and sale, business valuation, financial due diligence and strategy.
MC Vanguard Corporate Finance is part of Mitchell Charlesworth LLP, a North West-based accountants and business advisors specialising in the SME sector which has an office on Lunt’s Heath Road.
With the arrival of Nan, the firm now has a team of seven corporate finance specialists working across its offices.
A native of the Chinese capital, Nan studied at the University Of Warwick.
She said: “I’m looking forward to my new role. I was drawn by the business culture and passion for SMEs at MC Vanguard, helping the development ● of companies and working so closely with them.
“My experience is very much in fundraising and valuation projects.
“I’m also looking to use my experience of the Chinese market to help businesses in the North West, who are either already doing business with China or looking to do so.
“There are growing economic opportunities for the region with Chinese companies eager to invest in the North West and closer trade links developing all the time.
“Part of my role will be working with the contacts that I have in China to generate M&A transactions between companies in both countries. It is about seeking out those opportunities.”
MC Vanguard’s experienced team has completed a wide range of transactions and has advised on a range of business deals in different industry sectors with clients across the UK.
