VIEWS are being sought from Halton residents on services offered by pharmacies across the borough to help shape future health policies.

Halton’s health and wellbeing board is asking Halton residents to complete a short survey.

The results will be used to create a pharmaceutical needs assessment for the borough and develop future services.

The questionnaire is anonymous and should only take a few minutes to complete.

Halton Borough Council’s director of public health Eileen O’Meara said: “Please help us to make sure that your local pharmacy is providing the right services and support for you and your family.

“I would ask everyone to get involved and respond to this important survey, to help us shape the future of the service.”

A council spokeswoman said pharmacies are often the first place people turn to when they have a concern about their own or a family member’s health.

The spokeswoman added it is therefore important to ‘understand what the needs of local people are’ to ensure that pharmacies across Runcorn and Widnes provide the right services now and in the future.

Paper versions of the survey are available.

They can be obtained by calling 0151 511 6855 from Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm and providing a name and postal address.
