Crowning glory for dance students

-

THE Centre Of Excellence For Performing Arts at Cronton Sixth Form wowed a packed audience at The Brindley Theatre in Runcorn with their latest dance production, The Snow Queen.

Performed by talented students who are studying on the college’s Professional Dance Programme, the audience was entertained by dramatic ensemble pieces and incredible solo performances.

Feedback has been fantastic, with one audience member commenting: “Well done for a beautiful performance tonight, it was the best one yet.

“I am looking forward to seeing how the dancers will top this with their next show!”

Benjamin Musa, artistic director and course leader for the Professional Dance Programme, said: “I couldn’t have been prouder of the dancers when working on The Snow Queen. It has been an absolute pleasure to work on it.

“I always think that we will never be able to top the previous show, but the students smashed it out of the park. The level of talent with the current dancers is like nothing we have seen before.

“We are unbelievably proud of them and the success of the show.”

The PDP’s next productions are ‘Alice’ in April 2018 and ‘The Tributes’ in June 2018. ● Students performed ensemble and solo pieces in their impressive new show, The Snow Queen
