Ricky brings a right Royle show to town

-

ACTOR and comedian Ricky Tomlinson will be headlining the bill for a night of laughs in Runcorn this month.

The Royle Family and Brookside star is bringing his My A*** show to Heath Business And Technical Park on Friday, June 22.

He will be joined by top TV comic Gary Skyner for a feast of chuckles.

Doors open at 7pm for an 8pm start.

Tickets are £20 with discounts for tables of 10, with drinks promotions on certain bottles.

The night is being presented by Murrell’s Tours And Events.

TV fans will know Ricky from his treasure trove of acting credits, having shot to fame in his role as Bobby Grant in Liverpool soap Brookside.

He later played a detective in Cracker but is probably best known for his turn as flatulent, banjo-playing, font of earthy wisdom Jim Royle in the Royle family, where his ‘my a***’ catchphrase was coined and earned Ricky his place in British sit-com history.

Liverpool comic Gary Skyner was the winner of Merseyside Comedian Of The Year for three years running and is by turn a comedian and a motivational speaker, his wit carrying him to success over 25 years in a tough business, and triumphing against the ill luck of disability due to the thalidomide medicine scandal.

For tickets call Tony Murrell on 07852 257 705 or call into the Heath offices. ●
