Wedding suite has a marital makeover
RUNCORN Town Hall’s wedding facilities have been upgraded.
Halton Borough Council said improvements have taken place to The Boston Suite and parking for bridal and disabled visitors.
A spokesman for the local authority said decorating works have created ‘a bright and less formal ambience for couples’ to take their vows in, and there is also access to a private garden for relaxing and post-ceremony photographs.
He said Runcorn Town Hall is one of the very few register office venues within 30 miles to offer free parking.
Cllr Stef Nelson (registration) said: “Halton registrars look forward to welcoming couples in the future and to remind couples thinking about a special place to marry that bookings are now being taken, so now is the ideal time to plan your day and make a date into a memory that will last.” ●
