Golfers do have a field day
RUNCORN Golf Club hosted the first field day of 2018 for the Society of West Cheshire Lady Golf Captains earlier this month.
The Captain of Captains for 2018 is Mrs Sue Queeding who was Runcorn’s Ladies Captain in 2001.
The invitation to be Captain of Captains is an honour and Runcorn’s last Ladies’ Past Captain to hold this office was Mrs Joyce Lowe who, coincidently held the post in 2001, the same year that Sue was the Club’s Lady Captain.
Joyce was Lady Captain of Runcorn back in 1977.
It was a very successful day with beautiful weather.
