Accountancy opportunities

-

RIVERSIDE College has launched exciting new opportunities for people looking to enhance or change their careers towards accounting, with new part-time AAT accountancy courses and apprenticeships.

AAT accounting qualifications are well respected and sought after by employers.

The college says it is proud to be able to offer high quality internationally recognised qualifications which are being taught by high quality industry experienced tutors.

The first AAT sessions began at the college this month, with students Ella Whitfield and Luke Purcell among the first to be studying the Level 4 AAT Professional Diploma In Accounting. Ella is the first part-time learner on the course while Luke is the first accounting apprentice, who also works at FD Accountants in Widnes alongside his studies.

Joanne Martin, head of business and IT at Riverside College, said: “It is very exciting for us to be able to launch our AAT Accounting Academy at Riverside College. ●

“These professional AAT qualifications can enable students to begin high flying careers in the profession without the need to attend university and open up a whole new range of accounting apprenticeships at all levels.

“We are already welcoming a new cohort of students and prestigious employers are placing their accountancy apprenticeships with our new provision.

“We welcome enquiries from potential students, apprentices and employers.”
