Take the 10 week fit­ness chal­lenge

THE Vik­ings Sports Foun­da­tion launched its One Com­mu­nity fit­ness timetable on Mon­day, Septem­ber 17, with a num­ber of new ses­sions avail­able for all ages.

That in­cludes the 10 Week Chal­lenge, which be­gan on Tues­day, Oc­to­ber 2 and is aimed at im­prov­ing phys­i­cal fit­ness, fat loss and en­cour­ag­ing healthy eat­ing.

As part of the 10 week cy­cle, in­di­vid­ual mea­sure­ment will be taken in weeks one, five and 10 to mon­i­tor the progress of each par­tic­i­pant.

Any­one can join the chal­lenge for just £30, which in­cludes a 10 week mem­ber­ship al­low­ing ac­cess to all One Com­mu­nity ses­sions at no fur­ther cost.

Par­tic­i­pants must com­mit to at least two ses­sions a week as part of the chal­lenge, in­clud­ing the Tues­day evening ses­sion run­ning 7-8.30pm.
