Drama group in the Soup

-

A WHODUNNIT murder mystery will be setting out to provide chills and laughs at The Brindley in what will be a Halton drama group’s debut at the awardwinning theatre.

Murder At Cadberry Manor is to hit the stage on Friday, October 26, and Saturday, October 27, and Soup Productions is relishing its upcoming appearance at the venue.

Michael Pirks, of Soup Productions, said the show will be packed with ‘laughs, drama and murder most delicious’.

The story follows a tale of macabre mirth at Cadberry Manor, home to rich, eccentric Sir Toby Le Rone hosting a special gathering only for it to take a dire twist when he is slain by a mystery assailant.

Audiences can join Inspector Harry Bo as he quizzes and interrogates suspects such as Dr Wilbur Wispa, Maid Malteaser, Louis ‘The Fruit’ Pastille and many more.

A Soup spokesman said: “Directed by Danny Shaw and written by Mike Bell and Michael Pirks, Soup Productions are proud to present an original black comedy murder mystery that not even Poirot could be bothered to work out.

“Soup Productions opened its doors in 2017 and has continued to build itself since then and has produced a number of projects based on theatre, music and film in its short time.

“Soup exists to give budding young artists an open door to create and produce original work in all aspects of performance.
