HMO PLAN FOR CARE HOME
A FORMER home for disabled adults could be converted into a house of multiple occupation (HMO) under plans filed by a property developer.
Under the proposals the property at 48-49 The Croft in The Brow would be turned into eight bedsits.
Plans filed by applicant Alan Lamb, of AJL PO, indicate the building’s living room, dining room, bike shed and garden would be retained.
The home had supported adults with a cognitive disabilities and occupied two semi-detached homes.
Consultation is open until November 1 with Halton Borough Council aiming to decide the matter by November 29.
