New chief operator arrives at Halton Housing
● HALTON Housing has announced the appointment of Nicole Kershaw as chief operating officer.
Nicole joined the homes group on an interim basis in June to support a service review.
A Halton Housing spokeswoman said since joining the housing association, Nicole has become a key figure in leading the approach to housing and customer services.
Nicole has worked in the private sector and in social housing at several organisations The Guinness ship.
Chief operating officer is a senior position but does not replace the chief executive role, which will become open following the announcement that Nick Atkin is leaving after 13 years.
Nicole said: “I am delighted to be joining Halton Housing and excited about helping to lead the organisation forward in fulfilling its vision of improving people’s lives.” including Partner-
Ingrid Fife, Halton Housing group board chairwoman, said: “I am delighted that Nicole will be joining us on a permanent basis.
“This newly created role will ensure the continued successful delivery of Our Direction (corporate strategy) and the priorities that underpin this.
“In addition to overseeing the delivery of our customer facing services, Nicole will also drive the delivery of our transformational Customers Project.” ●
