Ale launch for fifth album

RUNCORN band The Fireflys’ official sales figures are now just over a quarter of a million (300,0000 sales/ streams) and they have taken stock of what they’ve achieved over the last 11 years.

They’ve played arenas, stadiums, academys, theatres and pubs, they have had their music played on MUTV, in Old Trafford Stadium, That’s Manchester TV, Bay TV Liverpool, Made In Liverpool TV, BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio Liverpool, Manchester, Stoke, Lancashire and London, as well as radio City in Liverpool and not to mention thousands of college radio stations around the globe. They have had six number ones on Amazon, iTunes and had three top 20 albums on Radio Caroline’s official album charts and have hit the top 10 in the Australian, South African and Canadian Charts.

Many blogs and online magazines have written favourably about them, including Louder Than War, Lizzie’s Lowdown, The Faulkner Review and Stereo Stickman.

They have had four singles on the cover of Fireworks magazine’s cover CD which is available worldwide.

But the jewel in the crown is that they have been honoured with their own beer.

Blueball Brewery in Runcorn has worked closely with the band and have created a golden ale that is ‘nice and light’ at 4% and called it ‘Northen Lights’ after the band’s upcoming fifth album Only Us, Northern Lights out on Strawberry Moon records this coming Spring.

The official launch of the beer will be at the Winterfest festival on December 1 at the Runcorn christmas markets at the Unlock Runcorn compound opposite Lenster Gardens which will feature a live set from the band.

The beer will also be available at Society Tap Rooms Limited in Dukesfield.
