Debt collection firm sponsoring awards
THIS year’s Halton Business Awards sponsors have been revealed as TV debt collectors DCBL Group who featured in Channel Five’s Can’t Pay? We’ll Take It Away.
The national firm recently opened a head officer at Manor Park and will be the main sponsor for the glittering awards dinner on Friday, November 15, at Halton Stadium.
A spokeswoman for event organisers Halton Chamber Of Commerce And Enterprise said a record number of entries have been submitted this year for 14 categories, including debuts for ‘employer of the year’, ‘rising star’ and ‘family business of the year’.
World-leading science park Sci-Tech Daresbury will be sponsoring the ‘entrepreneur of the year’ gong, chemical giants Inovyn is sponsoring the ‘sustainable business of the year’ award, while newcomers The Apprenticeship Hub is backing the ‘apprentice or young person of the year’ award. Additional sponsors include Liverpool John Lennon Airport, CP&D, ABGi UK, Halton Bids, Halton Foundation, Wellbeing Enterprises and Halton Borough Council.

“This year we have moved the Gala Dinner back to November where we will be celebrating amazing business success and wonderful enterprise flourishing across the borough.

Tickets cost £50 plus VAT for chamber members and £60 plus VAT for non-members.
