Charity appeal for volunteers to help at music festival

-

CHARITY Stick ’n’ Step is looking for volunteers to help fundraise and raise awareness of its work with children and young people with cerebral palsy at the music festival Tributes on the Hill.

Scheduled for July 30 to August 1, the festival is being held at Higher Mickledale farm, Manley Road, Frodsham.

The bands playing include tribute acts to The Killers, The Smiths, Arctic Monkeys, Take That, Bruce Springsteen and many more.

Tributes on the Hill has never had a chosen charity before, so this is an exciting opportunity for Stick ’n’ Step to raise funds for all the children who attend weekly free conductive education sessions at Stick ’n’ Step’s centres in Wallasey and Runcorn.

Stick ’n’ Step will be raising funds at the event through a raffle, face painting, festival accessory sales and various games for children and adults alike.

The charity is currently looking for more volunteers to help out over the three days of fun.

Kelly Marks, community fundraiser for the charity, said: “As a charity, we are grateful to have this opportunity to raise awareness and hope to raise vital funds across the weekend.”

If you think you could help Stick ’n’ Step by volunteering some of your time at this weekend of live music and family fun, please contact Kelly@sticknstep.org for further details.
