Get your season off to a flying start with our special club annual

-

IT’S set to be a season like no other for Liverpool.

The big kick off takes place on Saturday, August 14 when the Reds travel to Norwich City in their first Premier League game of the new season.

And a week later it’s Anfield, where Liverpool will face Burnley in front of a capacity home crowd for the first time since March 2020.

Preparations for the new campaign get underway. Liverpool travel to Austria for the first week of pre-season with new signing Ibrahima Konate in the travelling party, as well as the returning trio Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip.

And there could be more signings to follow as Klopp and Michael Edwards finalise plans to retake their Premier League crown.

Ahead of an exciting new season of football, Reach PLC are celebrating the return of fans to stadiums across the Premier League, Championship, League One and the Scottish Premiership with 41 special edition club annuals for the 2021/22 season.

Fans can order these one-off titles in print to arrive at their doorstep before the campaign kicks off for the cost of postage and packaging.

Included will be all the inside information on what to expect from Liverpool and their rivals in the new campaign from the best regional journalists in the country.

The ECHO’s Liverpool correspondent Paul Gorst will bring you all the latest news on the Reds’ plans for the upcoming season, along with previews from Theo Squires, who has been at Euro 2020 for the ECHO, and Matt Addison, who has been covering the Reds’ youth team.

IT’S set to be a new season like no other at Everton.

A summer of shocking developments means the Toffees are now managed by ex-Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez, who is back in the Premier League after a spell in China.

Benitez arrived after Carlo Ancelotti’s decision to walk out on Everton and return to Real Madrid back in May. It was a move that very few saw coming and left the Toffees searching for a new manager for over three weeks.

But now it’s Benitez in the hotseat looking to improve on last season’s mid-table finish, as well as deliver the first piece of silverware at Goodison Park since 1995.

He’ll do so in front of returning supporters as football prepares for full capacity stadiums for the first time since March 2020.

And to help you prepare for the new season our team of Everton writers have helped put together an unmissable, 40-page souvenir guide - available for just the price of postage and packaging.

Our Everton correspondent Phil Kirkbride and Blues writer Adam Jones both bring you their perspective on the Toffees ahead of the new campaign, with information on the club’s preparations, potential new signings and much more.

Every annual also includes a full club-by-club breakdown of the competition, key stats and the latest information around the grounds as football puts supporters back at the heart of the action.

We’re also on Facebook/LiverpoolEchoEFC - your must-see EFC news, features, videos and pictures throughout the day from the Liverpool ECHO.
