Motorbike fire was ‘deliberate’

FIREFIGHTERS extinguished a motorbike found torched in Widnes.

One appliance from Widnes Fire Station was called to Lodge Road at 7.30pm on Sunday, August 8.

The motorbike was “well alight”. Firefighters in breathing apparatus used a hose reel to put out the flames.

Widnes Fire Station, based on Lacey Street in Widnes, tweeted that the fire is believed to have been caused deliberately and anyone with any information regarding the cause should call Cheshire police on 101.
