USA INTENT ON ECONOMIC STARVATION OF TALIBAN
THE devastating defeat of US and British military power in Afghanistan has quickly been replaced by economic blackmail, making a mockery of claims the US, Britain, and other NATO nations are concerned with the well-being of the country’s impoverished 38 million people, 70 per cent of whom subsist on less than a dollar a day.
Starving Afghanistan of funds will lead to starvation of men, women, and children in a country where 40% are already unemployed, and 60% eke out a subsistence existence from agriculture.
The US and its partners-in-crime are now intent on economic strangulation of a country they bombed, shelled, mined, machine-gunned, and droned for 20 years in a futile attempt to destroy the Taliban, armed only with Kalashnikovs and rocket-propelled grenades.
