A NIGHT of live music will be laying on a host of Halton favourites at The Brindley this October.

The Naughty Corner, whose core members Peter Clarke and Si Owens usually appear as an acoustic duo and have been entertaining audiences around the borough for 25 years, will instead be performing as part of a full band and joined by bassist Pete Muldoon, drummer

Peter Knowels and guitarist Mark Potter – best known for his work with Halton live music local legends Kessler – with the goal of achieving a “formidable” blues rock line-up giving the band’s sound “a new edge”.

Completing the night’s line-up will be Gareth Heesom and his band, and Kelly Creswell.

Organisers said Gareth’s “highly-rated” talents are well known in the borough following a decade of live performance, and Kelly’s stage presence has been honed to earn her a place as a “warm favourite” in Halton.

The show takes place on Saturday, October 9.

Pianist and songwriter Si said: “Although predominantly an acoustic duo, whenever we record and put out our albums, we love getting a band together and rocking out. This line up gives the opportunity to put that raw energy in front of a live audience, and we are looking forward to ripping it up in front of a home crowd at an iconic venue”.

Si added that the acts would like to thank The Brindley in Runcorn for continuing to support local acts as well as all of their fans for showing their support and buying tickets, which are still available via the venue website.
