CUT OVERSEAS AID RATHER THAN RAISING NI PAYMENTS

-

I NOTE that the Government are increasing the National Insurance contributions by 1.5% to raise £12bn.

May I make a suggestion? There are other ways to raise £12bn and not increase NI contributions. First, cut the overseas budget to nil but only make a contribution in extreme necessity, ie, floods somewhere, people starving etc.

As we seem to be short of fruit and veg pickers, couldn’t some of the young men who come across on boats be taken straight to the farms to work and earn their keep, because they will all be eventually accepted here?

Couldn’t some of the people out of the one and a half million unemployed be utilised to work for their benefit?
