SURELY WE CAN USE THE £350M TO SAVE THE TRIPLE LOCK?

WHEN we all voted in the Brexit referendum, I distinctly recall there being a big red bus saying on its side ‘We send £350 million a week to the EU, let’s give it to the NHS instead’.

£350 million a week is about the same as the amount Boris has just taken off pensioners by cancelling the triple lock, and working people, many of them very low paid, and businesses, by increasing National Insurance.

So as we have left the EU, why can’t Boris use the £350 million a week the Government have saved? Where has this money gone?
