Witness appeal as man left trapped in overturned car
A DRIVER was taken to hospital as a precaution after their car overturned in Widnes.
Emergency services were called to Waterloo Road at 4.45pm on Wednesday, October 6.
Firefighters helped to free a person trapped in the vehicle, which had overturned on a bridge slip road.
A Cheshire Constabulary spokesman said a 64-year-old man was taken to hospital as a precaution but was not injured.

John Collins Way near the Mersey Gateway exit.
Two fire engines, from Runcorn and Widnes, attended the incident.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters helped to extricate one person who was trapped in the vehicle, they were then passed to the care of paramedics.
“The crews were in attendance for around 30 minutes.”
