Body of man is found in a home

THE body of a man has been found in a home.

Cheshire Police rushed to Grangemoor in Runcorn at around 2pm on Friday, January 28 following reports of a man’s body being found in a house.

Once at the scene officers found the body and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

At this stage Cheshire Police have said the man’s sudden death is not being treated as suspicious.

A spokesperson from the force said: “Shortly before 2pm on Friday 28 January police were called to reports of the sudden death of a man at an address on Grangemoor in Runcorn.

“Officers attended and at this stage the death is not believed to be suspicious”

A file will be prepared for the coroner, who will determine how the man died.

People living in the area reported a large police presence on the residential road.
