Under 14s stretch run by hitting six

THE Wild Academy Under 14 team continued their superb run of results with a 6-1 win over bottom team Coventry U14s at Planet Ice Widnes on Saturday.

Widnes led 2-0 at the first break though goals from Aidan Lamb and Jared Knowles and three more strikes in the second period – from Lamb,

Callum Sweeney and Ruben Price saw then well in the lead.

Knowles scored again early in the third period to put Widnes 6-0 up and then Coventry scored their only goal of the game on 38 minutes to round off the scoring.
