KINGSTON U14S 8 WILD ACADEMY U14S 0

THE Wild Academy Under 14 team lost 8-0 away to Kingston (Hull) U14s on Saturday.

It was an uncharacteristically below-par performance for the Wild youngsters compared to recent weeks and the home side took the lead after just 15 seconds.

By the end of the first period the score was 5-0 to Kingston and at the end of the second it was 6-0. Two more unanswered goals in the third period rounded off the scoring for the game.

Following this result, Kingston leapfrog Widnes into second place in the league table. Both teams have 12 points but the Hull side have the better playing record and have played fewer games.
