Slight injuries dropped by 24% from 208 in 2019 to 159 in 2020.

There were eight collisions with eight casualties on the Mersey Gateway bridge and its wider associated network, down from 23 collisions and 28 casualties in 2019.

The report acknowledged the pandemic would have been a factor in the decreases but said the borough performed well compared to other areas.
